The translation and publication of Walter Nicholson's handbook on Microeconomic Theory is an attempt to create the first textbook in Armenian language for teaching graduate level microeconomics in universities. The Armenian version of the textbook is the product of cooperation between Economics Faculty of Yerevan State University (Yerevan, Armenia) and California State University (Fresno, USA) within the program “The cooperation between colleges and universities of Newly Independent States.”
The chief editor of the book, professor and chair of Mathematical Modeling in Economics of YSU Dr. Aram Arakelyan presented the book to his colleagues and students on March 5, 2008 at CRRC-Armenia premises.
